Life Drawing With David Kirk

Dates: Mon 9 – Fri 13 July, 2012 9.30am – 4.30pm

Cost:£230

Renowned artist David Kirk is currently Head of History Art at Uppingham School, and regularly holds successful exhibitions of his paintings in galleries throughout the UK. A graduate of the Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art, his immaculate yet dynamic depictions of English towns and countryside are now widely collected.

Working with a range of media, he will be leading this week long intensive course in life drawing. Students will be taken through a variety of approaches to producing drawings based on the human form, and the course will explore the techniques and disciplines involved in working directly with a life model. This course is suitable for artists of all abilities, although some experience of drawing would be helpful.
