This activity has been devised into either morning or afternoon workshops and will be delivered by Tim Ellis. Tim has taught Design and Technology at Uppingham School for six years and has created this exciting hands-on course to introduce students to some of the basic techniques of glass painting. Students will enjoy a series of step-by-step projects using the following techniques: Frosting, Crackling, Templates, Outlining, Marbling, Embellishing, Dribbling, Blending of Colours, Masking, Mosaics, Freehand Painting and Sponging. At the end of the course students will be able to take away a collection of finished pieces (including Wine and Champagne glasses, Three-tiered bottle, Small Square Bottle, Soap Dispenser, Tea-light Holder and Picture frame) and skills to develop further into an enjoyable hobby
