A series of fun, creative workshops involving stitching and sewing run by course tutor Jane Schofield. The workshops are suitable for boys and girls, and suitable for everyone, whether or not they have done any sewing before.
Easter Workshops:
Easter Decorations and Gifts -
Join in the festive fun and create fabulous decorations and gifts with just a few bits of felt and some simple embroidery stitches.
Easter Cards & Easter Tea-Party -
What could be more creative and personal than a card you have made (or even stitched…) yourself? Get creative and make an array of gorgeous decorations for an Easter party.
Arty Accessories & Funky Fashion -
Learn basic sewing skills and get creative. Make a funky felted wool phone/ipod cover or pretty hair accessories with simple stitching. Transform an ordinary jumper or jeans (bring your own) into a vintage-style item with felt and fabric embellishment.
Summer Workshops:
Bunting & Cupcakes -
Make beautiful bunting with funky stitching. We will also be making little cupcake decorations out of felt. Oh so pretty!
Beads, Buttons & Butterflies –
Get creative and make an array of gorgeous hanging decorations and accessories – from button hearts to butterfly brooches and keyrings. All hand sewn.
Sock Monsters & Funky Fashion –
Sock monsters are so easy to make. Come and learn how. Get creative and customise your jeans and T-shirts (bring your own) and have fun with embroidery and appliqué.
