Cricket 7–14 year olds

Cricket coach

All our cricket coaching courses are aimed at both boys and girls aged 7 to 14 from total beginners to young county players. They provide technical coaching on such aspects as batting, bowling, fielding and wicket keeping skills as well as including team games to practice what is being learnt in a fun environment. Children will be grouped according to age and ability. All cricket equipment will be supplied, including helmets, to those who require it, but participants who wish to use their own are welcome to do so. Students are welcome to wear cricket whites or general sports gear. Cricket Director for the series of courses will be former England, Kent and Leicestershire cricketer,TrevorWard. All group cricket courses run from 10.00am – 4.00pm daily

These courses are our most popular courses so early booking is recommended. The course taking place on Easter week is a 4-day course (excluding Easter Monday), the others are 5-day courses. The majority of time will be spent in the cricket nets in the sports centre although some training will take place outside if weather permits.

As Easter cricket.Weather permitting we shall use the Upper Cricket Ground, home to Uppingham School’s first XI and venue for an MCC v India women’s international in 2006.

8063 Summer One-to-One Cricket Coaching
Mon 14 - Fri 18 Jul One hour per day x 5 days £160

Our cricket professional (former England, Kent and Leics pro)TrevorWard, and Kunal Jogia, one of our expert young cricket coaches, will again offer one-to-one coaching. For those with serious ambitions to improve, students will have a one-hour individual session each day, Monday to Friday, when they will work on key aspects of their game with their coach.
